Estate Agents from Hell

We moved into a place 01 May, we ere promised that the place would be painted and clean. On the day we moved in, the house was an absolute disaster. No cleaning had been done and no painting. Its month two, I have been chasing Rawson Agents for 5 weeks to no avail, i am still waiting for painting to be completed, the house maintenance issues to be resolved. The electricity consumption is through the roof, has tripled from out previous place, we reported the issue, and we still wait for some kind of action to be taken. No one at the office could be bothered to return calls or actually resolve the matter- we are expected to pay the full amount of rent for ******* and poor service! The agent had inclination to tell me that we leased the property in the state we viewed it. Then someone explain to me why bother with an inspection.
