Worst property rentals I've ever signed an agreement with. All the cosmetic appearances but a potential fire hazard.

Looks like you must request CoCs for water and electricity before entering any contract/lease with them.

My deposit paid on time rental paid by the 26th every month for 10 months with all the issues reported . It's unbelievable and only to find out the risk when the property is being sold.

When I moved in oven not working.. Sorted a week later. Damp walls still not sorted, worsend in winter. Plumbing issues found out with the rainy season. Dud /bogus drain, back yard flooded on many winter's days. Sparking tripping blowing plug points when you touched the trunking. All quickly sorted after no power to half the house for 2 days. Burst geyser pipe sorted after no water for a few hours. Burst again 3 weeks later same place. Leaking main pipe in the front yard. Bathroom tiles about to fall off the wall, held by the tile adhesive, Another hazard.. But it's just a woman with her boys.

Don't let me start about the shlep to get wifi installation for a house advertised as wifi ready.

And only to discover when property sold all the ******* connections ,plug points and high risk fire hazard issues when a CoC has to be done. Wow, I've lived here for 10 months with my 2 boys and this is what we were subjected to.. Shocking

Transfer papers going thru..My private space for the last 4 months has been a thoroughfare from People viewing, now electricians, plumbers, Everyone.. It's free for all. Days and days of people in and out up and down.. Really disgruntled by the disregard for my privacy, my son who started his final exams last week and most importantly no respect and value for our lives.

Rawsons agent says it's beyond her control, but the things that were supposed to be sorted when I informed were not sorted. I've requested this time as my son while he writes matric exams, I'm now being threatened by my lease agreement and "clauses*.. I'd love an explanation. When I was told moving in, the house was just purchased and was been empty for 2 months.. Who would think it would be sold in less than a year? I have maintenance people tell me it's the previous LL issues .. Is that my concern, I didn't buy I'm renting.

I currently have no power points in the living area as that was removed.. An ******* fitting and was left with the electricians number should I require a power point.

No1 bothered previously, it was just apologies for the inconvenience and was quick slap dash repairs to shut me up. There you go.. Electricity sorted water leaks sorted!

Becareful people, it's now my fault because I'm asking for privacy for my son that is writing final exams.

What are my rights as a tenant, if anything it should have been the BARE MINIMUM.. basic HEALTH AND SAFETY
