Dishonest AF, *********, unprofessional

<p>Moved to a unit rented by this agency on the 1st of March 17. before moving, i told them they must fix the staircase handrail and they had agreed. When I moved, suddenly it became a semantic issue about english not being understood. upon getting legal advise, I advised them it was ******* to have a staircase with no handrail and the matter will be reported to the JHB Council Chief building inspector. I also told them i will report it to social media and newspaper outletsThey then sent an email saying it will be done. One of the lady, June Steven even went ahead to tell me how lucky I am they will do it as if I was not in my right.</p> <p>Fast forward to this week, no calls have been made to the contractor whose quote has been approved. The treads on the steps are too steep, and there is no space to extend the treads.</p> <p>Therefore, after consultation with the owner, and to make the property legal, we will remove the staircase, and therefore, because the loft will not bear any weight, it will just be a decorative ceiling.</p> <p>I have cancelled the instruction to the contractors to install the handrail. Please let me know when the contractors can gain access to the unit, so that we can remove the staircase and paint the wall.</p> <p>I eagerly await your response."</p> <p> </p> <p>Excuse me, I am renting a loft and now you want to reduce my room space because you are too arrogant to do the right thing. This is step one of the storm you have created.
