Defective Construction

<p>I bought in a Rawson Development in 2016, and despite a 12 page snag list on the building we were quite happy until summer came round. Then the temperature rocketed which I put down to being on the top floor. We purchased an airconditioner that runs day and night to make the apartment habitable.</p> <p> </p> <p>Then I did a Google search on the building. When viewed using the satellite view I noticed that one side of the building had a different finish on the roof. When I queried this with the building manager and Rawson Development I was given the run-around.</p> <p> </p> <p>After five months of trying to get to the bottom of the problem and threatening legal action Rawson Development finally admitted that our roof does not have insulation!</p> <p> </p> <p>I have spent another month trying to get Rawson to tell me when and how they plan to fix the problem to no avail. All communication with them have so far been ignored - including emails to directors Bill Rawson and Carl Nortje!!</p> <p> </p> <p> </p>
