Company won't refund money

I got in contact with an agent by the name of Justin Steven recrently because I was searching for a one bedroom apartment. I app**** with him when I saw one on the internet listed by him.

Throughout my whole application leading to the processing of payment, I requested a number of times from Justin to see the property before I make payment. He promised me that I will like the place and that it's nice. He persisted on not letting me see the unit. Eventually I was contacted by the landlord/owner of the property who then showed me the property (all monies were already paid to Justin at this stage, an amount of R21 000).

Upon seeing the property I was not satisfied at all with what I was seeing and there were a number of things that needed to be fixed that the agent never mentioned to me. The landlord and and I agreed to cancel the lease and to not proceed with the deal. He agreed to this because he himself was not aware that the agent never granted me the chance to see the property and we then proceeded to inform the agent of the cancellation.

To date I have not received any refund from the agent since I never even got the key to the property I had paid for. I have reported this matter to Rawson head office twice and have received no assistance and way forward whatsoever. The only money that has been refunded is R5660 that Rawson had paid to the landlord, he wasted no time in refunding my money and charged me no cancellation fees. However, this amount is just R5660 from the R21 000 I paid to Rawson properties Northriding branch.

I would really appreciate it if hello peter could help me with this matter and help me get my refund.
