Cheapskates on repairing damaged roof

So we moved from our previous property and we asked them to move in a few days earlier because they stole my fiance's car and we didn't feel save. The roof was leaking in the new property and I was told the owner will repair it as soon as possible. Last week I warned them there will be rain this weekend and it has to be repaired. They came back with a lazy excuse and said the owner thinks its too expensive and a new quote has to be done. Now, 8:52pm on Saturday I had to remove my TV from the wall and move everything away from the roof. I took a video showing how bad it is. This is pathetic lazy service from a big company and I can't think that this is fine. I just send Karen Ryakaart and Wendy Fourie another email stating if they don't fix it by Monday I will and it will be deducted from my rental or else I'll go to small claims court and proof my emails and video that its a lack of maintenance as the waterproofing had to be replaced.
