A day of Hell!!! with Rawson Properties
A day of Hell!!! - On the 31st of August 2018, Rawson Properties and its representative, arrived at our property uninvited. We gave the home that we had just purchases from Rawson Properties, to be rented out by Rawson Properties's representative, who said she has her own DIY guy and he can do all the necessary repair work so that we can rent the home out. There was clearly zero communication between the two of them, then Rawson Properties's representative never answered any calls from me after the repair work, so clearly, the house stood empty the whole month, with an unfinished paint job. But let's get back to the day of Hell!!!
Our house was to be rented out from the 1st of September as per the contract, we cancelled all of Rawson Properties's representative future repair work ie geyser that burst, cleaning carpets, garden, and house as I lost all my trust in her and her DIY guys inflated prices who never painted out the garage or security bars. Rawson Properties's representative arrived on the 31 August (a day early) for inspection and said that the tenants are moving in at 11:00 (we said the house would be ready after 3pm) and starts taking pictures of the place waving her finger in my wife's face, she never ever told us in writing, or verbally that she would be arriving a day early and invading our place while we were cleaning the place up. Everyone was at the house, carpet cleaner, electrician, garden service, but here is Rawson Properties representative having her go at my wife, were, in fact, she is no supposed to be their yet. She then started to threaten us saying the we are going to lose our deposit money at the end of the year, my wife told her that I was laying a complaint at her office and she said that no one can lay a complaint against her ! She then proceeded to walk all over the wet carpets that we had just paid for and barked orders at my by then frightened wife and domestic worker, while she continued taking pictures and putting her finger in any dust she could find. She made us feel like we were in the wrong , even though we are paying her, constantly taking pictures trying to catch us out.
Now the problem is there is zero communication with us except for fighting and screaming and a total breakdown in communications, I would like Rawson Properties to give me a new agent too work through, too prevent this from turning from a day to a year of hell. My wife and I are planning to come to protest outside Rawson as our home in now in this persons hands and we don’t think out interests are at heart.
