Do not use Rapid Locksmiths, you in for a Rapid Rip-off!!!

I called Rapid Locksmiths on the 17th September 2021 for a lock to be replaced on my gate and for a nightlatch to be affixed to my front door.

The call out fee was R195, which I agreed to upfront. They then placed a new lock on the gate and affixed a Bird night latch to my front door. They then gave me a bill of R4,310 payable immediately, after they claimed 20% discount! Which means their original cost was R 5,387.50 for fitting 2 locks!!!

For the back door I used a different locksmith who fitted an Xpanda gate and Yale lock for just over half the price of these guys (including the cost of the gate and lock).

Bottom line, do not use Rapid Locksmiths, you in for a Rapid Rip-off!!!
