They must be the worst ppl to deal with and i am really fed up with them. Every time it's a fight with them but this time i won't hesitate to take them to court. I receive a monthly pension from them and let me tell you it's really not that glamorous at all. They told me that i can do something that's called commutation don't let that fool you apparently you can only do it for a certain amount and it has a impact on your pension wich i don't mind at all. But my amount that they gave me was a impact of 800 rand and it amounts to roughly 150 000 so now that is done and for the rest of my life I can't do it again. Now the big question is how do you look out for your family if something must happen to you because once you die your pension gets forfeited back to them like they got injured. Lets say i get covid-19 and die my family won't get anything but Randmutual will be to happy to take the money. I mean at least with road accident fund they provide for the people and that people can provide for their own families even if they spend their own money on what ever and it's when it's finish it's finish at least they had the opportunity to pay of their debts or invest or buy a house or do something that is important not commute once and then they tell you sorry but that's enough you don't need more. Even workmans compassion won't be this **** endless problems and don't even let me get started with re-opening of the injuries. But for once I don't care I'll fight them in court. Please don't make a mistake and take out a Randmutual policy no matter what they have promised you. See you in court Randmutual.
