Bad Service

Rand mutual treat client badly... very bad. I lost my Father on duty in 2014, 2 of my younger siblings qualified to get pension till they finish school or turn 25 as per COIDA act. This year only my younger brother received his pension my younger sister schools in Pretoria. We took her to thay school budgeting around her pension that she will be able to pay rent, meals and school fees. From Jan she didn't receive anything I had to make over 10 calls and a lot of emails too get response where they only paid 3.6k of her school fees. To date she havent received her pension. I tried to contact and ask what's happening, for someone to explain how things works now and why no one bothered to call and explain. It's very unfair when companies take advantage because they know you don't have resources to fight them. I am disgusted with how they deal with clients and want them to tell me if she sleeps in her class room and eat books? And what made them decide to change things without informing the family? I will have to seek help out there till someone help me get response from Randmutual. They proved not to have the nest interest of their client at heart.. it's very sad as most of their clients lost their loved ones and vanuarable.

Good day Elsie

Our management has confirmed that they have been in contact with you and had a telephonic conversation to explain the matter. As from December last year, RMA management took a decision to change the process of child pension extensions by paying the chosen educational institution directly. We have experienced some administration challenges in this regard, which have caused unforeseen delays. We sincerely apologise for any inconvenienced caused.

Please note that we are still committed to paying towards the tuition fees of our beneficiaries and promise to do our outmost to ensure you get the service you are entitled to. Payment for your first semester was made on 26 July 2018 according to the invoice submitted to RMA. We however request that you please forward us the invoice for the second semester and for the accommodation as soon as possible so that we may address these for you.

Regards

RMA Team
