Administrative Deadlock Stalling Essential Medical Treatment for IOD Claim
I am writing this to express my extreme frustration with the current administrative handling of my active Injury on Duty (IOD) claim Ref:X/***/1/J0179/25/PEV
While RMA has accepted liability and is paying me directly, I have been stuck in a medical impasse for several weeks. My authorized specialist requires upfront payment for a necessary procedure, but RMA's policy to pay only after invoicing has created a deadlock. Despite my repeated requests, I have not been provided with a list of network specialists (Rheumatologists or Pain Management) who bill RMA directly.
My medical certification is now set to expire this Wednesday. Without a referral to a network doctor, I cannot secure the required Progress Medical Reports (W.Cl.5), which puts my income and my employment status at risk. I am an injured worker trying to remain compliant, but the lack of administrative support is making this impossible.
I need an urgent response from a supervisor at RMA to:
Provide a referral to a network specialist who bills RMA directly or Resolve the payment deadlock with my current treating doctor.
Trust that you are well.
