Walk to Estate Gate with a Newborn to collect.

I had a delivery today and when they phoned, they insisted I come to the gate of the estate citing that "they are not allowed to enter the estate, and that they have never done so before" after I had read out an access code for them to use multiple times. I told them delivery vehicles enter the estate all the time, if they could just enter the access code I have read out to them. I also emphasised that I have a 12 week old baby and I cannot leave the house and they will have to deliver to my door. After assistance from security, they entered and parked at my block, and watched the driver NOT leave the vehicle to not come to the door. I phoned them multiple times and they dropped my calls repeatedly. I eventually just went out into the pouring rain, and I left my 12 week old baby behind who had just woken up for her feeding, to the parking to collect the package and the driver just said 'Okay' nonchalantly as much as he noticed the post-partum band I had on indicating that I had just given birth. They expected me, who had given birth, to walk in the rain with a newborn, to the gate of the estate in the pouring rain for a lousy package.
