Utter **** service from RAM couriers
Absolutely pathetic service. My upgrade handset from Vodacom was supposed to be delivered on Monday already. RAM does not accept a certified ID copy/new ID card or drivers license as proof of identity. They ONLY accept the green ID book. When I was unable to provide them with my ORIGINAL GREEN ID book, they refuse to hand over the item and the driver simply got back in her vehicle and drove off. On Tuesday morning, after I got to the office, I receive an sms that the parcel is on the way for delivery. Again, I left home without the ORIGINAL GREEN ID BOOK. When the driver arrived I told him that I do not have my ORIGINAL GREEN ID BOOK with me. Seeing that this is the way RAM operates, I am unable to receive my upgraded handset. Because of this **** service from RAM and Vodacom not getting their service providers sorted out, RAM can now take this handset back to Vodacom and I will cancel my contract with Vodacom.
Vodacom clearly states that in the absence of the original ID book/smart card delivery cannot take place.
Please let us know as soon as the documents becomes available so that we can have the courier redeliver the parcel at the soonest possible time.
