Unsuccessful Delivery, poor customer service, false hope.

I recently had a package delivered via Ram Couriers, a third-party service used by Vodacom. The package was supposed to be delivered on 25 July. On the day of the intended delivery (25 July), Ram Couriers returned the parcel to Vodacom without even attempting delivery or informing me as the customer.

Vodacom then arranged for the package to be resent. As of 5 August, the package has been at Ram's dispatch hub for 3 days with no update or delivery attempt. I have tried contacting Ram Couriers' customer care for assistance, but the agents were unhelpful and displayed a lack of empathy. They provided minimal information and cited "too many deliveries and limited time" as a reason for not delivering, promising delivery for "tomorrow" which has not happened.

Additionally, Vodacom has sent numerous emails to Ram Couriers informing them to deliver the package, yet no action has been taken. I'm disappointed not only with Ram Couriers' poor service but also with Vodacom's choice of delivery partner. Ram Couriers are clearly failing to meet expectations, reflecting poorly on Vodacom's partnership with them.

I wish Vodacom had partnered with The Courier Guy instead - they're fast and reliable and I've used them for years without any issues. This was my first and definitely last encounter with Ram Couriers and I pray this is the last time I have to deal with this - I don't want to go through the traumatic service I received from their call centre agents . They don't even deserve my one star.
