Unacceptable service. Courier that can't be on time.

I had scheduled the collection of my Rain device with the courier for Wednesday, 8 December 2021 on Monday, 6 December 2021 in no uncertain terms as Rain had already took 11 days to respond to me.

I am currently moving out of my place and had to vacate by Wednesday, and so it was very important that the pickup be completed.

The tracker indicated that I 'did not respond' on Tuesday, 7 December 2021 and no one called me, even though I was very clear that I needed the pickup to be on Wednesday.

On Wednesday, I waited the entire day (from 8 in the morning to 17:20) with no phone call or collection from Ram. Concerned, I called Ram to check on the status of the pickup. The call cut after I had reached an agent for no reason (reception on my area is good, so that is not the issue). I had to call numerous times using different numbers to get through eventually. The agent said someone had tried to collect at 17:27, but I wasn't there, even though no one called me and I was waiting the whole time.

I told them that I can't wait because I am moving out and needed them to collect between 9-11 the next day as that was the time I had arranged. The agent agreed to check for me and said he would call the next morning to confirm.

He never called. So I called Ram at 9 to check on my collection. A new agent said that the courier will come through "in the afternoon". I told second agent about the arrangement from the day before and she said that the delivery person was out delivering medicine and could not detour.

To be considerate, I said that I can wait until 14:00 in the afternoon and obtained permission to wait on the property until such time.

At 12:00, I decided to check on the status of the collection and a new agent told me that it will be collected in the afternoon. I retold the third agent about how I needed to leave my 14:00 and she contacted the delivery person, who then said he could only come by 15:00 now.

I asked if I could just drop it off myself, but the third agent said no, and that I should wait until 14:00 as the delivery guy is trying his best. At such time we could see other options.

At 13:45 I called Ram again to check on the status of the collection having gotten permission to remain on the property for another hour. The now fourth agent told the delivery guy and assured me that she expressed that it was 'urgent'

It's now 14:15 and I still have no idea when this will be collected.

Worse. I can't be on the property tomorrow. Really awful service.
