Terrible waste of my work day!!!!
I expected a delivery from RAM today so I took a day off work (I travel for work, so I could not commit to specific location while working). In total I spent approximately an hour on the phone with different RAM agents, 3 of whom simply put me on stating/claiming they were getting hold of the driver. After holding on for +- 8 minutes in complete silence and no response to any of my requests for attention, I'd eventually hung up each time. The one agent who managed to explain what the issue was; LOADSHEDDING therefore they cannot get through to the driver, THE WHOLE DAY???? Sounds like ******** to me.
This agent then guaranteed that I must stay put as regardless of their state of being able to get through to the driver or not, delivery was GUARANTEED!!! It 7pm and I have not received an SMS nor a phonecall to apologise for an entire work day wasted.
This is truly appaling. I will be escalating this complaint to FNB!!!!
PLEASE pull all the calls I made against my reference number. In one of the calls I EXPLICITLY stated that I knew the driver would claim I'm unavailable should they fail to deliver and even after the empty guarantees made by your agents, I was proven right. DISGUSTING!
