Stay away from RAM!

I arranged a collection with RAM before 15h00 yesterday, for delivery by tomorrow morning before 11h00. I fully paid for the courier service and received an email confirming the request.

By this afternoon at 15h00, no courier representative had been to collect my parcel and now that they have finally collected the item, I was informed that they unfortunately cannot adhere to delivery by tomorrow, and that the item will only be delivered on Thursday?!

This AFTER I had already made payment.

Had RAM not been able to ensure delivery by tomorrow, I would have used another courier service as the parcel has to be in JHB by tomorrow. Informing me at 16h00 that delivery would not be possible is unacceptable as no other courier is at this late stage able to assist.

Not only were my calls to the call centre (taken by Denay Taylor) filled with lies and misleading information, the online live chat service literally stopped corresponding with me once they realised that could not adhere to their promises.

I requested a refund as RAM made an undertaking and took my money without delivering a service, but was informed that unfortunately, they were not in a position to refund me.

Stay AWAY from this courier company - they will only give you sleepless nights!
