Rotten service & zero communication skills

RAM Couriers is absolutely pathetic! Never in my life have I had to fight so much with a courier company to get a parcel that is rightfully mine.

First, I didn't receive any notification that my parcel was dispatched on 6 December. When they called me to say no one is home, and I said I was unaware that it was being delivered they told me an sms was sent, which I have never received. I told him my brother is at home to which he said he may not leave it with him and only I can sign for it. I was then asked what time I would be home, and I said 5pm. The driver said he would meet me at home then. At 5pm he phoned me and said he is not gonna make it because he needs to get back to the depot. So at 17:20 I phoned the PE depot to find out when they will be delivering and why my brother was not permitted to sign for it. (I understand that the company I ordered the card machine from stated only I can sign so we app**** for 3rd party clearance). I was also asked what times suit us for delivery and gave those times to them. 7 December I received an sms at 8:56am to say the package is out for delivery, phoned the PE branch to confirm a time for delivery to make sure my husband would be home and was told that in fact the package was not out for delivery. When I asked if I could come collect it I was told it is against company policy. I was also told that they were still waiting for 3rd party approval from the sender. so I phoned the sender who confirm that approval was sent thorugh. Phoned RAM again and was now told it was too late to send the package now and it would be delivered the next day.

8 December: Phoned RAM PE just after 8am to arrange delivery time as my husband needed to do deliveries of his own for his business. Told them he will only be home until 12pm. I was assured the package would arrive before then. At 11:10 still nothing so I phoned again. They said they would contact the driver and get back to me. Heard nothing back. At 12:10pm my husband left the house to do his deliveries, and at 12:38pm the driver phoned and said he was there but no one was home. When I told him I spoke to 2 different people that told me he would be informed that no one would be home after 12 he said no one told him. So I want to know why are you asking what times suit us for delivery is you just do whatever you want anyway.

After 3 days of fighting and my husband going to the depot he was told the driver would meet him at home in 30 minutes for delivery. 5 minutes later the driver phoned me again to say no one is home. Clearly RAM has no concept of time either. Finally we received what was rightfully ours but I am done with this courier company forever!

There is zero communication from this company and they are a pain to work with. I would not recommend them to anyone on this planet ever!
