These guys are REAL POEPHOLLE!!!

They were suppose to deliver my contract cellphone from VodaCom, which they did but, upon delivery, they courier needed a copy of my ID document. I explained to her that I am in the process of applying for a new ID, seeing that my old document ended up in my washing machine and as a result it got DAMAGED.

I however had my SA license Card with certified copies as well as a STATEMENT FROM THE SOUTH AFRICAN POLICE CONFIRMING MY IDENTITY SITUATION...

She said "NOPE, NOT ACCEPTABLE,I NEED YOUR ID COPY" So I called the guys over at VodaCom, spoke to some guy and he said "License Card is perfectly fine". Then she tells me, "NO, I NEED TO GET PERMISSION FROM MY OFFICE BEFORE I CAN RELEASE THE PARCEL TO YOU"

I JUST UP AND CANCELED THE WHOLE THING!!!

Good day. Thank you for your post. We humbly apologize for the inconvenience caused by this. Unfortunately Vodacom has misinformed you. You need your original ID or Original passport- those are instructions we receive from Vodacom. Vodacom only accepts your Original Id or Original passport, you would need to contact Vodacom again and advised them your ID is missing in return they will send us a letter of authorization to deliver and accept your affidavit.
