RAM worst service ever

RAM Port Elizabeth messed up well and good! On the Friday we received a sms saying our package is ready for delivery. We phoned them, asking if they could deliver that afternoon, which they couldn't, as their deliveries were already out. As the package (cellphone) was in my wife's name she said that she was out of town the next week. RAM said "no problem", we must just have a couple of docs ready. Come Monday I was ready with all the necessary paperwork. The driver of course knew nothing about this... He phoned the office in PE. They knew NOTHING. I showed them the docs, they weren't even interested. I phoned my wife. She spoke to RAM in PE without success. After the driver left with the package, I phoned the office again. I spoke to about 4 people. Nobody knew anything till I got to Tammy, who also new nothing, but at least said she takes notice that my wife will be back on Thursday and she will also apply to Vodacom to have the phone delivered to me.

Come Thursday we phone RAM. The phone has been returned to Vodacom. Again RAM says it should not have been a problem if I just have a letter of consent from my wife, ID etc. I spoke to Esmé, client manager, who was no help at all.

What a worthless bunch of people. I would be ashamed to be part of this company! And I would never use them, or advise anyone to use them!

Good day,
Thank you for bringing this matter to my attention, I do apologize for this happening and the in correct information being supp**** to you.
In order to have a Vodacom parcel delivered to you as a 3rd party, Vodacom has to supply RAM with authorization and relevant documentation prior to us being able to make the delivery.
Without this being given RAM unfortunately can not make delivery to a 3rd party. You should have been advised of this and I do presume that this is not the case.
I have escalated this to our Regional manager for our Port Elizabeth hub and he will be dealing with these staff members as the correct procedures was not followed.
Again I do apologize for the inconvenience that has been caused due to this.
Due to the parcel that has now been returned to Vodacom, I do have to advise that you need to contact them so that they can resend this.
Regards
