RAM: what else can you get wrong?
What to expect from RAM - a collage of incompetence:
1: a message that you will receive delivery the next day. 2: a message that you will receive delivery that day 3: a phonecall to ask you for directions to deliver your parcel (couriers don't have GPS) 4: a message that you could not be reached and that your order will be cancelled 5: a message that you will receive delivery that day 6: a message that you could not be reached and that your order will be cancelled
Inbetween, you will call the sender of the package and they will confirm your order is not cancelled and it will be delivered.
None of the messages sent by RAM will identify is as being from RAM and will not include their own contact numbers.
If you try to call back, or text back, on the cellular number that the courier called from when he asked for directions to your normal home in a normal suburb in a normal town, he will not answer your calls and he will not reply to your text messages.
You will receive all the text messages listed above, including a caution not to sign for opened or tampered with parcels - still not identifying themselves when they text you.
You will then have to call their call centre, RECORD YOUR OWN CALL TO THEM SO YOU HAVE PROOF THAT YOU CALLED THEM, and then presumably wait for your text message that they will deliver and that will likely be followed by a text message that they could not reach you.
You will have made yourself available for delivery for two days in a row, disproving the claim that you could not be reached, and be expected to do so again, with little guarantee that the delivery will take place.
End result: RAM Hand-To-Hand Couriers will have shown you just how little they care about getting their PRIVATE COURIER SERVICE to work right the first AND second time, and they will bank on you waiting until they get it right whenever they feel like it.
Will I use RAM in my own business, having had this experience: NEVER.
Will I recommend them to clients or friends: NEVER
Will I ask all future product suppliers if they will be using RAM, and if they say they do, will I ask to pay my supplier EXTRA to use a DIFFERENT courier instead: ABSOLUTELY.
