Ram rant

If I could select zero stars thats how I would rate their service. I was so impressed with my online purchase from Bash online, it was couriered from durban to cape town in no time and scheduled to be delivered before 5pm on Friday 7 Feb. By 15:30 I checked online to see if there was a problem as I waited at home all day but no delivery/call received. Online they updated “failed delivery attempt/no answer. Now how do you attempt a delivery without even phoning the client? Seems to be an ongoing trend at Ram!I phoned customer service, was told they would get back to me. Before 17:00 I phoned again and the operator seemed more eager to help, she apparently spoke to the operations manager who said the driver was not answering the calls but they will get him to phone me asap so the parcel doesn’t get sent back to the hub but rather delivered to an alternative address if needed. Now that was the end of it, no calls from Ram, just an update online to say my parcel is back at the hub in Cape Town. The most frustrating part is the address I gave and the area I live in is the only route they have to take to get back to Cape Town which means the parcel literally went past my house yesterday but was not delivered. Poor service, no feedback. They could learn a thing or two from Courier Guy
