RAM customer service standards

Hi ,

I ordered a RAIN router and sim through RAIN . ETA 1-3 working days . The item was ordered Wednesday and delivered to the JHB depot that night . It was transferred to PTA the following morning . I called and asked for the ETA which a RAM rep confirmed that they will call PTA depot and ask that the parcel be dispatched that day which did not happen . The next day I called again after 30min a RAM rep confirmed again they will ensure the parcel gets on a vehicle this morning which happened at least one person doing their job . After calling 4 times and staying on the phone for more than 30 min at a time and sending mails to the famous "***" which after 24 hours no calls the RAN rep confirmed delivery today . Everytime a RAM rep confirmed delivery will happen before COB today . I called 16h25 and again 30min in a RAM rep says "O the driver went home and delivery will happen tomorrow" . Now my question is the following : Site says out for delivery and the RAM rep confirms this 4 times and after no calls back or not even a sms the RAM company decides they do not want adhere to RAIN SLA and do as they please . I'm doing work for RAIN and cannot attend meetings or restore their sites because I do not have data to do so as their ASP does not want to deliver which I can imagine is not the first time . If a parcel is showing out for delivery and it is not delivered it has to be booked back into the store if not RAM is sitting with a RAIN asset which is now missing and there is no visibility on it . I will be laying a complaint with RAIN as well .

Hi ,

Day 2 of out for delivery and still no parcel what a surprise . After another 4 calls to RAM this morning again conflicting info . Does RAM customer service mean non existent . Delivery will happen before 13h00 and the driver or manager will call by 09h00 and a sms will be send by 09h00 . It's 09h23 and no call no sms and another RAM rep saying delivery is until 15h00 today . IS RAM outsourcing the call centre or is there just very poor management from the top here . No surprise if RAM closes their doors because then maybe a different courier will be able to deliver faster . On line it says "unsuccessful delivery' meaning what that me who took unpaid leave to receive a parcel RAM promised more than 4 times yesterday that it will be delivered which did not happen . Now they say the driver did not have enough time so who does the planning a circus or a qualified person who knows the difference between time management and just hoping for the best . I run a national warehouse network and my deliveries no matter if it's WW3 if it says out for delivery it gets delivered that day no exceptions . Please also wake up the person dealing with the famous *** as still to date no call after multiple mails .
