Pathetic service

Why is it whenever ram couriers has to deliver a parcel to me they state that the delivery was unsuccessful but they make no attempt to contact me. I tried calling into the national line and Noma in Customer service tells me that delivery will be made between 8-5 then puts the phone down in my ear. Do I have to waste my whole day waiting for a service that should be hand to hand. Seriously pathetic
