One week to deliver an overnight parcel

Absolutely shocking customer service! A parcel to be collected in Cape Town and delivered to Bedfordview overnight took a week to deliver, and only after many calls to several agents who all gave me a long list of excuses, including "could not get hold of the Cape Town contact" and "incorrect address given." Although there was a street named incorrectly on the address given, no effort was made to contact anyone to rectify this, even though they had several contact details - two phone numbers in Cape Town, two in Bedfordview plus an email address. Nothing. No feedback. Even after my phone calls, and promises to phone me back, silence. A bit of a ****y attitude as well. RAM, you need to review your procedures to make sure that the customer is kept informed. They should not have to follow up. The tracking system was no help either.

I think you misunderstand the nature of the complaint. It is about giving your clients feedback, especially when something is wrong (like a non-collection due to an address that was mis-spelled). From five phone numbers and an email address that were given, surely you could have made the effort to contact any of the additional numbers. Sounds like another wild excuse to me.
