Non existent customer service

A parcel was out for delivery on Wednesday to a business address, the driver arrives at 6pm attempting to delivery (In fairness he didn’t know it was a business address), he couldn’t deliver as there was no one at the premises. He didn’t call to notify me, we only received a message informing us he couldn’t deliver. My wife responded to the message mentioning a clear instruction to deliver between 8am and 4pm. This message was acknowledged and noted on the system. The frustrating part is they did the exact same thing again the very next day, attempting to deliver at 6pm. I called the call centre and the service level of the guy who is at the call centre was beyond poor. He told me i need to speak to the driver he couldn’t help me. This was after waiting on the call for 11 minutes. I wouldn’t recommend Ram as a courier partner. Customer service is non existent. I understand things can go wrong but there was so little effort to rectify.

Good day

Thank you for your generic response.
Please take the time to read my complaint before responding.

I understand it’s peak but it’s no excuse for the exact same situation to happen twice in two days. You are a courier company, which is why you plan and schedule your deliveries ahead not just send drivers out blindly.

I don’t need an exact time. I need the delivery during office hours as this is a business address, if you are unable to do so communicate with me and we can make alternate arrangements. I do not think this is an unreasonable request but rather I need some sort of communication of can you or can’t you deliver during working hours. Every response from any representative of your company has been so vague. No one can give me a straight answer. This is by far the worst experience with any courier company.
