No delivery yet it's MY fault

After waiting in the office the entire day on Friday, 20 Dec, I get an SMS the Saturday morning that says the following:

"We were not able to deliver your FNB order :-( You could be liable for the delivery charges on your FNB account should you miss a delivery again. Please call us on ********** to avoid cancellation."

First of all, please get your facts straight. You want to hold me liable for something out of my control?! Do you really think i DONT WANT TO GET MY PARCEL!? No, if i could fetch it wherever the driver disappeared to, I would have. But the driver put no priority on delivering the item to me.

Please refer to the delivery status and time-line and investigate what happened. At no point was I not available. The driver did not show up!

At 4.09pm on Friday, the courier head office phoned me. I answered immediately. I received no call before that and my phone was definitely on. The driver made no attempt at delivering my parcel yet wants to claim no one was available to accept it.

After speaking to the consultant at RAM who said they couldnt deliver like it was MY FAULT, i wrote them this email.

Hello,

I am extremely annoyed!

I stayed in the office the entire day expecting a delivery, only to be told it could not be delivered.

The hotel is open, our office is open, I am right here, my phone is on yet you couldn’t deliver my parcel!

Please explain what happened at 3:57pm???

There was absolutely no excuse to not deliver the item. I am right here, I am still here waiting FOR NOTHING!?

I do not appreciate you wasting my day like this.

Please confirm the exact time you will be delivering my parcel?

Confirmation of address: Crystal Towers Hotel BulkSMS.com 1st Floor Rialto Road Century City Cape Town

It’s a huge building in the area, not one you can easily miss and it’s never CLOSED!

So do not give me silly excuses of “non-delivery” or that no one was here.

I expect my parcel delivered to me ASAP and not for my account. I did not cause the non-delivery. THEY DID NOT DELIVER!
