Nightmare experience

I recently ordered an LTE router from Supersonic on November 5th, and what ensued has been an absolute nightmare. The router was delivered by RAM Couriers on November 10th, after multiple failed attempts and a week of frustration. However, my relief was short-lived as the router proved to be faulty.

The ordeal continued with Supersonic's customer service, where I spent countless hours and exorbitant amounts of data trying to get the faulty router to work. After speaking to over ten consultants, I was finally escalated to someone who acknowledged the issue and organized a router swap. This meant dealing with RAM Couriers again, who proved to be equally problematic.

Despite confirming the delivery address twice, RAM continued attempting delivery to the wrong address. Numerous attempts to contact both Supersonic and RAM were futile, leading me to drive to Supersonic's head office at MTN a week later to sort out the mess. The new router was promised within 24 hours, but it took persistent efforts and multiple phone calls before the new router was delivered. Supersonic and RAM being no help and merely blaming the other party.

To my dismay, the package arrived in a ********** condition – dirty, dusty, watermarked, and covered with mould. The router itself was filthy, adorned with children's stickers and a 'property of (previous owners)' sticker. The lack of quality control is unacceptable – the large ‘Quality Check’ sticker on the box was nothing short of baffling!

Despite receiving this unacceptable router, I desperately needed internet for work and decided to request another replacement while using the router in the meantime. Unsurprisingly, this router also turned out to be faulty, and attempts to get assistance through the WhatsApp helpline were met with silence.

I eventually spoke to the original helpful consultant via phone call, spending over 90 minutes trying to sort out the issue. It turns out that no one knows what's wrong, and I'm now required to send back the router and SIM card, endure the hassle of another replacement, and once again deal with RAM Couriers.

As of November 19th, I am left without internet, incurring substantial costs in data, airtime, and petrol – not to mention the hours of time spent trying to resolve the issue. This entire experience has been a horrific and costly ordeal. I strongly discourage anyone from considering Supersonic and RAM Courier Services, as my experience has been nothing short of a nightmare.

Good day,

Thank you for reaching out to Ram Hand to Hand Couriers.  First and foremost from one customer to another I am really sorry for the service you have received from both companies, I will take ownership for everything Ram Couriers related as this is totally unacceptable how you were treated.  The collection and delivery of the item is something handed over to Ram by our supplier and as much as I cannot assist nor comment with regards to the Router problem it is still not fair that you have received such service.   I will personally escalate and look into this matter with our providers for better and quicker resolution.
