hand to someone closeby

Firstly, I'm really surprised by how many complaints this company has received on hellopeter. <br> <br> My mum had a parcel delivered recently from an insurance company. Fortunately I was home, but was unaware of any package being delivered and by the time I got to the front gate, it was too late, the courier staff were gone. It seems strange that a company does not call before they deliver parcels, as I'm not sure, if they are aware that in general people work during the day. Also, the parcel was handed to the neighbour's domestic worker.....this seems bizarre to me as to why you call yourself a hand to hand service when it is clearly not. Also, note, the high gate and walls were constructed to keep the neighbours from damaging property and *****ing items. <br> <br> Fortunately the parcel was brought to our house at 10pm that night but only after several phone calls were made. But I would like to know, if the neighbours had ****** this important parcel, what would the company have done? Because if you do not respect that hand to hand delivery means just that, how do you expect people to trust you with their most precious items? Picking up at the local post office seems a far safer option.
