Don’t pay for next day delivery. They’ll take your money and still not deliver next day

I’ve been waiting for a next day delivery since last week Friday. Allowing for the weekend and the public holiday, I’ve set my whole Tuesday (02/01/2024) aside to be at home waiting for the delivery. I’ve called and it’s “been escalated to management” but so far, as of 1pm today th he delivery still shows as only being prepared for delivery (it’s been like this for over 2 hours now). When I call at again I’m told they can’t guarantee me a delivery time let alone that I will still get my delivery today. At this rate there definitely is no reason to pay for any kind of delivery service beyond the standard because it looks like no matter what you pay for, delivery will only happen at the normal delivery rate anyways.

Absolutely ABSURD! I just got off the phone with customer care who tells me my parcel will only arrive tomorrow, DESPITE having paid for next day delivery and DESPITE the delivery Address being 40min away from their depot, I’m told it’s an outlying area? Absolutely pathetic service, absolute ****mers of Note and not only will I NEVER use RAM again in my life, I will VEHEMENTLY tell everyone I know, and anyone I barely know for that matter too, to never make use of the service. They ***** your money and deliver on their own time anyways. SHOCKING. Now to see if my parcel even arrives here and if so if it’s even in one piece. I have very little faith of either scenario to be honest.
