Do not recommend Ram for important documents

I ordered and paid for same day delivery to an embassy in Pretoria for visa documents. The tracking later stated that it was going by road. When I queried this with Ram, they said to me they had made a mistake and it was on a flight. I pointed out that it was late in the day that it would not be delivered by the time the embassy closed and that the next day, Fridays, the embassy is closed. The tracking the next day showed the parcel arrived after midnight and was delivered to another person and not the person (hand to hand) who it was addressed to. Numerous calls to Ram were dropped and I was kept on hold for 25mins. Then I was told and I quote: “it is your risk”, and it is now after hours. Ram cannot give me proof of the embassy’s stamp, nor where the visa documents and passport are. Ram cannot confirm it was delivered to the embassy. I do not recommend you use Ram for important documents, in fact for anything, because Ram absolves all responsibility by saying “it is your risk”.
