Disappointing to say the least

I have been phoning the whole day, been promised delivery is on the way each time I call. 16:56 I phone and the lady tells my the courier is just in another close by suburb, he'll be at my house shortly. This was a complete lie, as at 17:30 I phone again and am told that my package was sent back to depot because no one was home. Digital planet (a partner with FNB) who arranged the delivery of an fnb device through RAM, sends me an sms this morning saying I will be charged if I miss another delivery. No one even tried to contact me for delivery or was at any point at the house to try and make delivery. This is very disappointing and I am fuming. I will not lose money because of someone else's incompetence
