COMPLAINT EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED, NEGLECTED CLIENT, LACK OF TAKING RESPONSIBILITY & UNFAIRLY TREATED
I am writing to air my disappointment in lack of taking responsibility for parcels in the courier’s custody alleged to be ****** , lost or ****** in conivance with your drivers on my LG G7 cellphone that was bound for delivery to my premises on the 19th June 2020 but never delivered. I have on the 6th of July 2020 send an email of complaint which never has seen a response or solution, after having made several attempts to speak to the managers namely Raheed Hoosen of whom it seems the staff/employees are so scared or are repreamanded should they transfer or give details of the managers to attend to customer queries or complaints, to the extend that the staff would rather cut you off on the phones or simply keep you on hold for several minutes adding to ones frustration. Not sure why this is so, or if this is the company's culture or standard practise. It is appalling to witness such lack of integrity or lack of care or taking responsibility by such a respected corporate courier company (Ram). I am still shocked and vey disappointed to have been treated in the manner I am being treated were by the courier company is not at all taking responsibility of the loss which occurred in their hands, and I believe it is only fair that I make this known to yourselves Ram. and give you as management an opportunity to rectify the situation I am in. On 18 June 2020 EX Group online cellphone company based in Heidelburg couriered an LG G7 on my behalf through your company scheduled to be delivered to my wife at the house(copy delivery note attached) the following day which never happened. DELIVERY ***. Numerous follows up by myself took place and in all instances on the 19th I was told delivery was scheduled for the day (parcel is out for delivery to be exact) but unfortunately the day ended with no delivery. Monday the 22nd June 2020, I followed up again with the customer service team and only told the delivery still due and where investigating where parcel had gone to. After a long moment of holding on the phone I was then advised that the parcel was unfortunately a subject of hijacking and the case was under investigation and someone would revert to me with findings. Never did I receive a call for update till I had to phone the following day only to be told , its been confirmed the parcel was hijacked, and RAM could not be held responsible and I have to revert to the supplier regarding the issue. With this kind of business, I believe set structures should be in place for example Goods In Transit cover to cover such losses. In my suspicion what if your own drivers are in collusion to the loss, of which responsibility still lies with the employer being Ram to investigate and refund or replace the respective clients commodities that have been lost in the company’s custody. My sincere request is to have my parcel replaced or settlement reached amicably and soonest. I trust this is not the way that Ram Couriers conducts or does their business that they simply walk away in the event of loss of their client’s parcels or deliveries in their custody. If you will assist in the refund of my parcel costs or delivery of a replacement cellphone. I request ram to revisit this case and management to rectify the situation and should hope that you will respond with a solution to this issue and also prevent such issues reoccurring as I am sure you agree this reflects badly on the company’s brand name and operations. Looking forward to your favourable response.
