This is possibly the worst company in South Africa after Eskom.

I gifted an item to my 71 year old mum and delivery was expected today as per the sms received in the morning. The driver called her at about 4pm and told her he will be at her house after 5pm as he was not in the area. He made no attempt to call her before that. He acknowledged the address so my mum waited till 7pm and there was no delivery.

I had a look at the tracking details for this parcel on the retailers website (RAM'swebsite cannot find the parcel) and the comments were that 3 phone calls were made and they could not get a hold of my mum so the parcel was a non-delivery. If the driver did not call her, then how does she have his mobile number? It is not right to make an elderly person wait the whole day for nothing.

Judging by the reviews on hellopeter, several other people had similar issues. I have informed the retailer from where I bought the gift that I will never purchase from them again since they use RAM couriers. I hope they do not support RAM again.
