Best courier if don t care if or when your parcels arrives.

On business in rural KZN and need to send some equipment to Cape Town for service. Phoned the Richards Bay Ram office to arrange pick up on Friday 18th May. The quoted me a 72 hour service and a pick up on Friday as is was an urgent delivery.

Friday came and went with my package still at reception. Despite being label to the consignee, being decorated with huge "for RAM Courier" label and sending an image to the office of the parcel, the driver manage to walk away with the wrong parcel.

Monday came and I had to chase them up to pick up, which they successfully did. They also promised to make sure all the delivery targets were meet and the parcel would be in the Cape for Wednesday.

That was another promise they failed to meet. The parcel didn t leave Jo'Burg until Wednesday, arriving in the Cape on Friday.

I sent a complaint in, which was forwarded to the manager in Richards Bay, Angus Allagan, but no one had the common courtesy to reply.

As this was equipment and the delay cost in over 5'000ZAR in rental fees.

So long story short if you are keen on paying for an expensive service, with no customer service and don t care if or when the parcel arrives, then by all means chose RAM couriers.
