Bad service

I'm disappointed at the service I received from Ram Bloemfontein. Referring to way bill no RAIN04-***8, My parcel was out for delivery since Tuesday morning. Due to whatever reasons and problems encountered, it was not delivered. On Wednesday there was no communication from their side up until I phoned to follow up with them and I was told they don't have drivers. I requested that my parcel be delivered as I need it for work away from my normal office environment. The gentleman assured me that it will be delivered on the 5th of August and it didn't happen. Before leaving for my field work on Thursday, I phoned the warehouse AGAIN trying to follow up and I was told that my parcel is "out for delivery " again. Fine, I tried making arrangements to meet with the driver named Johannes with no luck. He drove past my area and went to a different location saying his got important collections he needs to make around that area. I phone again in the afternoon after I've arranged for someone to collect my parcel and they sai they are in my area and they will definitely deliver. I phone again around 17:15 informing them that I am aware that they'll be knocking off anytime and the assistant driver just told me they left my area again and went to another area without delivering my parcel.

After so many attempts, they still didn't deliver.

I hope this kind of service will be attended to and resolved. I am well aware of challenges they might be facing because of Covd-19 but if someone was literally 5min away from my house then it's clear that they had other intentions.
