Anything but RAM, for your own sake.

I ordered a Standard Bank sim and RAM was supposed to deliver it.

One 3 separate occasions, on 3 different days when they were meant to deliver I only got an sms stating that the delivery was unsuccessful because I was unavailable. I was at home on each occasion (Instead of going to work in the office). I literally would wait all day for a SIM card only to be informed that the delivery was unsuccessful because I am unavailable.

The first time they failed to deliver, I got a call 30 minutes later (to receiving an sms) and they informed that the driver said I was uncontactable. Strange, considering that they could CALL ME to tell me this but not to inform me that they’re at the gate. I asked for the delivery to be rescheduled for that day and never got a response.

On the second occasion I got told by the security that I have a delivery at the gate, but when I got there the driver had already left.

On the third occasion I asked for it to be delivered to my office, they agreed. But this never happened. I just got another sms.

Altogether I wasted 2 working days and over an hour of my life being on the phone with RAM. I hope Standard Bank works on getting another courier because RAM is just pathetic.
