A level of service we can only dream about

It has been years since I've received service worth commending, but today I just have to write about the above and beyond service I received from two RAM courier - Polokwane branch - staff members: Vincent and Abel.

After having explained my urgent query two times to customer care, the lady there eventually gave me a cell phone number for Vincent at Polokwane branch. I phoned him and he said he would investigate and have the manager call me. Within a short while Abel, the manager, phoned me back. I again explained and he immediately went into action and told me he would get back to me ASAP.

The next message I received from them was from Vincent saying that he will deliver my parcel personally. He left Polokwane at 15:00 and I estimated that he will be here at about 17:30. At 17:30 Vincent phoned me to confirm directions and my parcel was delivered at 17:44.

Vincent personally did a round trip of around 500km which extended WELL into after-hours ON A FRIDAY in order for me to receive my parcel on time!! That is definitely MORE than the extra mile.

I did not catch either Vincent or Abel's surnames, but I do hope that this message will find its way to them.

THANK YOU for the brilliant service where I know anyone else would have shrugged their shoulders. It is well noted and appreciated beyond words.
