@ 8:43am on 29 February 2024 I received an SMS: Clicks delivery update: Parcel OF******* out on delivery & should be delivered today. Track here: clicks.co.za/orderTracking/***
@ 4:29pm I get a call asking me if I'm on site, the driver was there with the delivery and I wasn't available - no one called, no one queried with the 24/7 security if I was available. The agent says she'll call the driver and return to me - she didn't.
@ 4:49 I made a call asking what the actual ****, what did the driver say, no one got back to me. I'm told the driver has since knocked off, the parcel won't be delivered anymore but the following day, which is today at 11:00 am.
REASON: On the delivery address, there was no company name - I thought to myself, what if I needed the parcel delivered to me whilst I was in church for a prayer - do I have to give my church's name, too?
I postponed my flight for the following day, because as my luck would have it - this parcel was actually for my anniversary, out of town.
@ 1:49pm today, I make a call asking how far is the delivery and I'm told the parcel isn't out for delivery, since the address was changed - they have to wait for approval and then have it delivered.
I have made 7 ****ing phone calls today looking for someone who could explain this cluster**** to me - that in this whole equation, I don't matter, not a single agent can claim to have called me, emailed, me, sent me a smoke signal - nothing. They all have very ****ty attitudes and none of them admits any **** up, and you one if anyone listens to the supposed recorded phone call.
Supervisor is non-existant - whenever you're transferred to him or her, the phone rings for a good 3 - 5 min, then it's dropped
You basically find yourself in the middle of this endless hand-to-hand jerk-off circle, of agents who miraculously all know the "Rules and Regulations" to the finest tee AFTER the **** up. Nobody understands anything about customer service, or problem solving but reciting call centre script ****ery.
I've postponed my flight one more time because these mindless RAM naairs had their thumb up the ****, have somehow today woke up to the realization that actually there are "Rules and Regulations" that they should have known long before they sent a parcel out for delivery.
- Who in Ram checks if the delivery address meets expectations? - Why send a driver to a location where you can see it doesn't have a company name? - Why do I get a call, after the driver has left, what objective is that meant to achieve? - Why tell the customer you're going to get back to him when you have no intention to? - Why tell the customer when the delivery will be made, the following day when you know that's not going to happen? - Why not one single phone call to update the customer when having communicated incorrect information, or when things have changed? - Does the supervisor even exist?
Ram scoring a nationwide contract with Clicks was hitting a jackpot and good times came rolling.
Good times, breed bad policies - and you can see ****ing rot at Ram, wheater they chose to admit it or not.
I would personally like to take this time to apologize for the manner in which your parcel was handled, it was totally unacceptable and did not even had to get to this point where you post online. From one customer to another I would never want to go through the experience you went through that is why I would really like to apologize.
We are glad that we did resolve and deliver your parcel and this review is an example that we need to improve our service and we will work hard to ensure we improve on that.
