Stay away from Mahindra vehicles

I was going to buy me the new Mahindra Double Cab for my wife this month, but i have now completely decided against it. I will never buy a Mahindra vehicle again and will make all means possible to advise people to stay away from this brand. I bought myself a Mahindra XUV 500 W6 in March 2014. The fixed radio in the vehicle have been replaced twice already when it was within warranty. Prior to the replacement it made a popping sound and did not work anymore. I was never provided with a reason why this happened, but I would assume that the radio blew. My vehicle is now out of warranty. Today, it made the same popping sound and the radio do not work anymore. I took it to Mahindra in Raceview to check for me. They said that i need to book the vehicle in which will cost me R1,350.00 to check for the fault. If the radio needs to be replaced AGAIN it will cost me R25,000.00 to replace. The guy at the dealership said that they often get these vehicles in to replace the radios. He said that each car have its problems. This is an indication that it is a common problem on the Mahindra vehicles. It is definitely the first time that i know of that a vehicle's radio blow so many times. This is the third time that the radio in my Mahindra blows. My vehicle has 95,000km on the clock and i have it for 5 years. Previously my tailgate did not want to open. When i took it in they fixed the problem. The same issue occurred a second time and they insisted that the harness be replaced. I warn everyone to please stay away from Mahindra vehicles.
