Bad Service

I purchased a vehicle about 3 weeks ago and two weeks later there was an issue the Salesman was called he did know what the fuel consumption should be. Then contacted the Dealer Principle who was not over friendly to advise the vehicle should be taken into their workshop and checked and a courtesy vehicle be provided which was agreed to.

Following this conversation she never had the courtesy of calling me back but asked the Salesman to do so.

They had undertaken to repair all scratches and dents which was not done and the gentlemen we spoke to were extremely arrogant - what does a women know about vehicles, well sorry to say but you underestimated this one.

Also going into the third week the vehicle had still not been registered in my name. I had to keep following up. Following the above it was decided to sell the vehicle which was duly done. Had asked the purchaser to collect the documents whereupon they proceed to tell him I had issues with the vehicle. Do they not adhere to POPIA, imparting personal knowledge between a Dealer and another purchaser is not the done thing.

They were great at wanting to sell the vehicle but their after sales service is terrible, perhaps if it was a high end vehicle, the outcome may have been different.

What these companies tend to forget is that without the customer there is no business. Think twice about purchasing a vehicle at the dealership. I certainly will not.
