Dear Mbali,  Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. We take all concerns seriously, and it's disheartening to read such a detailed complaint. It's crucial to clarify the facts, as context can often be overlooked, leading to prejudice.  While we strive to support all our tenants, we also have to adhere to our policies and procedures.  Here are some key points regarding your situation:
  1. At no point had a signed lease been established between yourself and our property management team.
  2. The unit in question was sublet by the original leaseholder without our consent.
  3. The agreement between the leaseholder and yourself is a private matter and does not involve our property management.
  4. Upon discovering the unauthorized sublet, we initiated a process to assist you.
  5. Our standard vetting procedures were followed, but unfortunately, you did not meet the necessary requirements to lease the unit.
  6. The management team also attempted to assist by offering a co-application, which similarly did not meet approval.
  7. Additionally, the leaseholder’s account is currently in arrears, and we have not been able to recover costs associated with this situation.
We genuinely wish we could accommodate everyone, but this is of-course not always possible. Thank you for your understanding.  Best regards, The management team
