Quicksure is not so quick

I registered a claim on the 31st March 2025 due to a power surge we suffered on the 1st April I received a updated policy schedule with added excesses and a increased premium I acted the increase and proceeded my claim. I was sent a claim form which I filled out I actually removed am item because it started working again I informed t insurance company about the change. A week later I was asked to get a letter from my municipal office showing there was planned outage the municipal office confirmed there was a power surge due to a unplanned repair, the next three days no response from Quicksure then I was asked to allow one of their service provider to asses the TV they guys come out took e TV away and sent a report 30 days later I am now being told their service provider who they have been using has submitted thr report in an incorrect format 2 days later and they still awaiting the report in the requested format how do they expect a client whose premiums up to date have to wait so long for a TV to be replaced my neighbours who are eih outsurance had their items replaced in 3 days this is my 3rd claim and everytime I have to run around getting documents forms etc every week it's a new delay or excuse at 70 years old I expected soe sort of assistance

Dear Mr Dhanapalan,   Please allow us to provide some clarity regarding the delay in processing your claim, which was registered on 31 March 2025 following a reported power surge.  After receiving the required documentation, we appointed a qualified service provider to assess the condition of your television. Unfortunately, there was a delay in obtaining the assessment report from the provider. We understand that this delay is not acceptable, and we have since addressed the issue directly with the service provider to ensure it is resolved promptly.  We understand you have also spoken with your Claims Technician regarding this matter, and we trust that a resolution will be reached shortly.  Once again, thank you for your understanding and patience during this time.

Tharina Kruger
Assistant Claims Manager

Best regards,

KD
