Lack of Interest, Bad service
At the beginning of February, I had contacted Quicksure to report water damage to my roof. After speaking with Adelle, I was advised that Esme, would be handling the claim. At the very outset of the claim, I had requested Esme to send through a contractor to assess the damage. I was advised that Quicksure would not send out a contractor and I would have to get a contractor to assess the damage and provide a quotation. I had followed due process and on numerous occasions advised Esme to handle this matter expediently, as the water damage was getting worse and also causing damage to carpets, fixtures etc. After weeks of emails back and forth with Esme, I was advised this afternoon that an assessor would contact me to come through. The assessor was blatant and informed me that he does not work weekends, his operating hours are from 8-4 PM and the insurance holder would have to be present. He is due to come on Monday the 23rd. I now have to take leave in order to accommodate him. I do not know how much longer it will take to resolve this claim and in the time being, damages are increasing. It leaves a lot to be desired in terms of service delivery and customer satisfaction.
Thank you for bringing this to our attention.
I do not understand why an assessor was not appointed immediately, as it appears obvious that more damages would occur.
I am referring this to the Claims Manager with a request that you be contacted without any further delay.
Please accept our apologies for the lack of service.
