Bullying at a work place
My name is Nokuthula Hlatshwayo. I was hired by Quatro cleaning services in Greyville during the Hollywood Durban July as a cleaner. From day 1 when we went to work, we (Me & other new employees) were treated hostile by another employee who's been there longer. Her name is Ntombehle Shandu. She's not even a manager there, but we were told by our Shift Supervisor Happy ( forgot her Surname) that Ntombehle is the one to delegate tasks to us. I was okay with that, up until Ntombenhle started being rude towards us, calling us names. She didn't want us to touch some of the working tools, citing we had no right to touch them as they belonged to employees who've been there longer!!! When I complained, I was told she's been doing this for lo her and always gets away with it. She called us names, said we were TB, and she would turn us to HIV! Also we were told to never use the microwave at work because they (Ntombenhle Shandu & senior stuff) had bought the microwave by contributing) this was long before we were hired. She called us dumb & other vulgar names I cannot mention here. This behavior from this lady Ntombehle went on for longerbuntil I stood up for myself and told her to stop this or I will take it up further. She then ran to management before I did, not sure what she told them but, Yesterday I received a call from an unknown number, +***7, the call was from my Shift Supervisor Happy. She told me to never come to work when we get a message to report for duty. I am now out of work because I stood up to a work bully. They are protecting the bully by firing me. I am writing this in hopes that the company will see this and act accordingly by bringing this lady to the office and call me and other workers who've also been abused by her to come and state our case. We are all trying to work to put food on the table for our kids and families, then you get to work there's work bullies in 2026????!!! Enough is enough. This lady must be brought to justice!!!

Threatened by cleaner
Good day, It is with great sadness to write this msg to you. Yesterday I visited the mall with my son in hopes to buy my son his needs as it is towards the end of the month,first stop as we entered was the toilet,we opted for the family toilet as we were about to enter the young male cleaner who was later identified as Mondli stopped as and said we must let another young boy enter who was behind us,mind you my son is 2 years with no nappy and this boy looked 9 years,I explained to the cleaner that my son has to go he is not wearing a nappy,then he suggest that I must enter the family toilet with this unknown boy who's parent is not present and I said that is unexpectably. He than said we women talk to much and started insulting me and pointing fingers in my forhead and he continued to insult me and threatened to beat me up, this was Infront of my child and other people.He was shouting at me,I no longer felt safe and my son could no longer use the toilet.I was scared and both me and my son were crying,I went out spoke to a security who did not care who only told me the centre office is closed,he didn't bother to check or escort me as I was no longer feeling safe. I was shaking and scared as I was working I saw one cleaner who indefied as a team leader since the supervisors was not in,she listed and told security who also did not attend to me but the lady called this Mondli guy who had originally told during the insult that he doing a favor by being there and can lock the toilet anytime. Mondli came i told them they is nothing he can say to me still pointing me Infront of them and left them talking....I am very unhappy I had to request a ride home with theoney am meant to spend on my son lunch because Mondli had said he will beat me up as I was not sure if he was waiting by the taxi rank as he shift has ended by that time. I would like to alert the mall ,I am a renal kidney fauiler patient ,I can't hold urine but yesterday I had to hence am writing this mid-night and sick,my son is a toddler 2 years I had to beg him to hold it until we get home, mzinyathi area...not only did the mall endanger my safety with my child but also my health.my son has no creche lunch as I had to leave the mall.... I will be expecting feedback from this as I would like this to be escalated further Regards Vuyiswa ***
