QVC timeshare -- in it for life as you cannot cancel or give it away

QVC, How is it possible that I cannot cancel a timeshare for eternity. It is awful trying to find any accommodation anywhere, everywhere is booked months and months in advance. This is ridiculous. How can I LEGALLY get out of this !!!!!!!
