QVC membership resignation.

I have been a member of the QVC for more than twenty years and now at 74 I’m a pensioner who can hardly continue to pay monthly subscriptions. Because I cannot afford anymore, I wrote to them to stop my membership and payment. In their response they demand that I pay them R35 000 in order to stop being a member.

I have available QVC points that are surely worth more even that R35 000 if I were to opt for a vacation, but they want cash which I do not have as a pensioner.
