QVC Holiday Points

I have been a member of QVC for 17+ years. My husband has passed away some months ago and I informed QVC that I could no longer afford to pay the monthly managing fees. We initially paid roughly R60 000 for the points from QVC, and I am prepared to lose that, and just cancel the fees. You can't sell the points, nobody will buy them. Even if you are prepared to lose your initial investment, and just cancel QVC/VRS won't allow you to do that. They force you to carry on paying for one year, which is 'a special offer' and then cancel, or force you to pay basically the lump sum of about 12 month's managing fees, which at ±R1400 pm is quite a substantial amount. I would really like to know how a company who can do this, can still attract clients.
