Holiday Points forfeited after years of payments

I am really not the kind of person who comes on public platforms to complain ..but I'm so disappointed with QVC. I took on a QVC membership 7 years ago in 2011 and I have been paying subscriptions of over R1,000 every month for the past 7 years without a single default. I have paid QVC for over 7 years now with the hope that we would one day do a big family holiday with our holiday points. Then I phoned this year to ask them how many points I had and they told me I only had Points from this year and last year because they had removed all my other points because I had forfeited them. This is ****************, if you have paid for something why would you forfeit it this is not like free points on a Woolworths cards or Absa Rewards that you got for free. These are holiday points that I paid for, and have been waiting to use for all these years! Does that mean I gave them my money for nothing since I got nothing in return for what I paid for? It's like paying for a house and then not moving in and then being told the house is no longer yours because you didn't move into it or buying a television and when you go to collect it they say you came late the TV is no longer yours. If you have paid for something it is yours - period-.. And if there is a rule to forfeit, this should be communicated continuously before forfeiture. Someone should phone and email you and tell you and give you the options of how you can Bank these points or where else you can store them but they should remain yours, they should never be removed or forfeited. So with the TV example they can charge you storage or can give you the option to store your TV somewhere else and phone you but they can't say this TV is no longer yours. Hello Peter, please help me, has anyone ever sued these holiday companies this is really an ethical issue. We need to go to the Ombudsman for holiday clubs to make sure that what they are doing is above board. If I forfeited my points surely I should have gotten a refund for that year because I paid for those points, they belong to me, they can't take them back unless they pay me back. I am also engaging my lawyer, but I really feel this is an unfair practice and **************** and it needs to be investigated and rectified.. especially for a first-time offender who they have never communicated with and never told them about this forfeiting rule.
