Cannot cancel QVC

<p>My mother is retired, my father passed away. We have written to QVC to request the cancel their membership due to financial issues. QVC has requested a whole lot of documentation(statements, etc) as evidence. </p> <p> </p> <p>I have researched the cancellation and I have noted the copious amounts of consumers are trapped by QVC. </p> <p> </p> <p>How is it possible for a retired person to be so trapped into a contract a contract .... With out an exit clause? </p> <p> </p> <p>Should I submit this complaint to The Consumer Protection Act or should I get a lawyer? What is the next step to giving away their QVC points?</p> <p> </p> <p> </p>
